Day 63 to 68 – Paris

Firstly, welcome to the world beautiful little Thomas Sydney Kearney. It’s killing me a little that I’m not in Brisbane to cuddle this bundle of perfection right now… A very proud aunty once again. Bro & SIL, you make the most excellent kids. Time for #4!!!!

And so… Paris. My first week in Paris flew by in a haze of sweet perfection. I love it here. It’s as simple as that.

Everything in this city is beautiful. The people, the buildings, the food. It’s like a dream.

So far I’ve settled into Parisian life exactly the way I hoped I would. I didn’t have any sort of agenda for my time here… I just wanted to be in Paris.

I’ve visited the sites of Midnight in Paris, lunched at Paris’ best restaurant (top secret, and both these things once again all thanks to Aric, who just keeps on being wonderfully generous), discovered and spent hours in my favourite cafe, walked the streets, wandered through markets, found treasures in little vintage stores, drank wine by the Seine, eaten cheese, devoured pastries, read books, written things down, taken too many photos…

I could go on and on, but I don’t want to cheapen it with my rambling. So once again, I’ll let the photos do the talking…
